U.G.L Pride

The Kindness Tree

Around Valentines Day, we created the Kindness Tree.  It is a tree with colorful hearts and kind words on it.  Every student wrote a sentence about how we would help somebody on a paper heart.  Then we cut out and colored the hearts.  Then Miss Branagan, Mrs. Magnotta, and Miss Visconti put all of the hearts on the tree.  It's in our gym and the tree reaches all the way to the ceiling.  Mattie, in Mrs. Harris' third grade says "I feel happy that everyone is doing random acts of kindness."  The Kindness Tree is important because we show our Code of Conduct by being kind.
